PSNews–The British Council in Vietnam and the Department of Education and Training of Hanoi on August 15 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on education cooperation.
The British Council, in partnership with the Vietnam National Institute of Arts and Culture Studies on May 17 announced their new project named Cultural and Creative Hubs Vietnam. The project will be implemented over three years from 2018 to 2021, with the financial support from the European Union totalling 450,000 Euros.
The British Council on October 10th launched the first event of its global program Crafting Futures called "Craft and Design challenge 2017" for young designers in Vietnam.
The British Council’s New Directions in English Language and Assessment conference opened on October 13 in Hanoi. Experts of language assessment brought international and national perspectives and insight into trends and approaches in English language teaching, learning and assessment.

According to British Council in Vietnam, this year’s New Directions in English Language and Assessment conference will be held in Hanoi on 13 and 14 October 2016.
